Inflatable Digestive System

On 20 and 21 August, Science was brought to life when a giant inflatable digestive system was set up in our school. Our students took the role of the food and moved through the digestive system with great excitement.

Through this experience, our students learned more about the digestive tract inside their bodies. They learned that the small intestine is about 7 m long and saw for themselves what 7 m was like, twirling in their bodies.

Our students had a ball of a time when they entered the ‘mouth’ and moved through the ‘organs’ and emerged out from the ‘anus’! This was learning at the best!
